R 22 freon has been found to be bad for the environment. Starting in January 2010 R 22 freon will no longer be installed in residential HVAC equipment. R 410A and R 22 components should never be mixed when a cooper line set is not able to be replaced it should be tested for leakage if good new approved flushing kits work great to clean and remove any R 22 oil and residue from the lines. If reusing and converting copper line sets to work with R410A they must be the correct size required or they must be replace.

Customers who have water heaters that are 8 years old or have boilers, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps that are older than 10 years really need to look hard at this new tax credit.
